NEW LAMA COLLECTION, PURE AND SIMPLE LINES

The first lamps designed for Icone by Giulio Cappellini, with Leonardo Talarico.

Icone lighting is designed for a changing world. Lamps that change shape and finish to adapt to hybrid contexts, as contemporary lifestyles demand. The Lama lamp collection responds to this need.

It is a collection of table lamps, floor lamps and produced in two sizes and different finishes.

Lama is distinguished by a pure, geometric design obtained by the intersection of two cones. The material with which it is made is a very thin metal sheet that gives great plasticity to the object. The upper closure, on the other hand, is made of plastic material.

Various finishes are available: from matte varnishes in basic or bright colors to metallic finishes, typical of the Icone brand. The simplicity of the shapes and the variety of finishes offered make Lama suitable for different types of environments, both domestic and for hospitality.

Lama is the first collection designed for Icone by Giulio Cappellini, Icone’s art director and winner of the Compasso d’Oro 2022 for his career, together with Leonardo Talarico, a young designer who has co-designed, with Cappellini himself, numerous installations around the world, including those for Alcantara at the Maxxi Museum in Rome and at Palazzo Reale in Milan.
