Armonia: where light becomes a shelf, between design and material

Armonia lamp | Icone Luce

From its curved end caps to the Canaletto walnut insert, this is a new take on the wall lamp, one that speaks the language of contemporary interiors.

Its name reveals its essence: Armonia means harmony—a dialogue between solid and void, matter and light.

With this new creation, Marco Pagnoncelli continues his exploration of the relationship between the lamp as a functional object and as a piece of domestic architecture.

A profile that becomes furniture

Armonia is born from a solid aluminum bar, hollowed and milled with artisanal precision.
This is not a simple tube, but a dense and compact form that, once opened, transforms into a luminous shelf.

What sets it apart from many wall-mounted fixtures on the market are its refined details: the rounded end caps, the solid front, the recessed insert.

The lamp enters into dialogue with its surroundings, recalling materials and lines from interior design – floors, doors, kitchens – and becomes an integral part of the space.

Canaletto walnut as a signature element

Like CLIPS and ETERÈA, Armonia features a key signature: genuine Canaletto walnut.
This warm, natural material, embedded in the milled profile, gives the surface a unique tactile quality.

Alongside the wood, sophisticated finishes such as glossy black, caramel chocolate, and champagne further enhance its presence—tones carefully selected to resonate with contemporary interior palettes.

A luminous shelf

In the collective imagination, a shelf light is familiar, easily placed. But Armonia is not simply a closed, boxy object.

Its strength lies in the balance between essential form and refined detail.

The insert—be it wood or metal—turns this familiar silhouette into something entirely new: a subtle, distinguishing presence that redefines a traditional typology.

Invisible technology, visible comfort

Like all new Icone 2025 creations, Armonia features high-efficiency custom-developed LEDs (160–170 lumen/Watt), ensuring energy savings, durability, and effective heat dissipation.

The light is always indirect, never harsh or glaring.

It’s a core design principle for Pagnoncelli: the lamp should gently guide the eye, never blind it.

Armonia is a luminous furnishing element that integrates silently into the environment.
A discreet presence, distinguished by its details, designed for those who seek true harmony between form and function.
