\nNature\nmakes us feel good and, when we can’t go out, <\/em>\nwe can surround ourselves with objects that remind us of it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connecting with nature improves the quality of life. This is the principle behind biophilic design<\/strong>, the ability to design objects that establish a connection with nature even in closed environments and that transmit a sense of well-being to those who live in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The etymology of the word Biophilia is ‘love of life’. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\nIt\nis a way to improve the living experience and more generally our\nlives, in a world where urban areas continue to expand and steal\nspace from nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nTo\nimplement this concept we need to incorporate elements such as water,\nvegetation and sunlight into the home environment, bringing what is\noutside inside. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nBut\nwhat happens if these natural elements are not at hand, as is often\nthe case in a big city? When this happens, another typical feature of\nbiophilic design is the use\nof colour and form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nGreen\nhues, wavy lines and organic shapes of objects help to recall natural\nforms and reduce stress, contribute to being more creative and\nimprove well-being.

\nThe principles of biophilic design can\nbe applied to objects and therefore also to lamps. Light plays a key\nrole in the comfort of indoor environments, especially if, as in the\ncase of residential environments, these become multifunctional\nspaces, lived many hours a day between leisure time, domestic\nactivities and smart working.
\n
\nMany\nIcone lamps are inspired by nature<\/a>,\na way of giving their shape a sensorial role as well as a decorative\nand furnishing one, in harmony with the atmosphere created by the\nlight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
