The new sensuality of design

We will see more and more a design to touch, not just to look at.

Today understanding the limit between design and decoration becomes increasingly difficult.

In the case of Icone the designs are always very rigorous. Those by Marco Pagnoncelli are always linear, very clean, the enrichment of the object takes place through the use of different materials, different textures and finishes.

The same object can thus speak different languages ​​according to the type of finish. The same white or black lamp, or gold finish with bronze finish, gives me completely different perceptions.

More and more in the future more design will be made not only to look at but also to touch.

Warm and material surfaces are a fundamental trend, we see it at 360 °. We see them on the lights, we see them on all the elements of the furniture, on all the materials, from glass to plastic and metal.

Before the metal was only white, aluminum or black, today there are thousands of different shades. The glass was previously white, transparent or colored, but smooth, now we see it instead, as in the case of Cristalglob, extremely worked. These are the elements that make the difference, they are a way of giving a new sensuality to design, they are contemporary, they are things that we didn’t have 20 years ago.
